Welcome to Summoner’s Rift! (Featuring Skillcapped), this is a venture into book cover creation I undertook in 2024. I was inspired by the hypothetical potential of two companies dear to me – Skillcapped, and Riot Games. Riot Games (owns League of Legends), and Skillcapped (teaches League of Legends). Thus I was inspired to create a hypothetical that combines the two.

Additionally League of Legends hosts a worldwide Esports tournament and as wonderful as it is to watch, newcomers are likely lost even with the glorious narration. Thus I wanted to create a guidebook that helps newcomers understand what’s going on in Summoner’s Rift.

The magazine was created using InDesign and coded with Print media in mind. This was my first venture into compositional design which is why I look so fondly on it. Especially the topic/theme which I feel is something wholly I among few others would think of and attempt to actualize. So nerdy! 🙂
